How it works

Three steps. The receipt is the start of the number, not an attachment you look for later.

1

Snap it

Take a photo of the receipt. Vendor, date and total are read for you; you confirm what the reader was not sure about.

2

Match it

Import your bank and card statements. Every line looks for its receipt — same amount, same day, same card — and you approve the match.

3

See what's coming

Monthly bills, card statements and loan payments are provisioned the day you know them, so cash flow shows what will move before it moves.

Everything the money touches

Provisioned amounts are shown apart from what has moved — in amber, with a dashed outline — so the balance you see is never mixed with the balance you expect.

Receipt capture

Camera, scanner or photo library. Copies of the same receipt are detected and merged; the original photo stays in your vault.

Receipts inbox

One queue for everything waiting: needs review, reimbursable, matched. Group pages, mark who paid, generate a PDF.

Bills and monthly plans

Rent, utilities, insurance, software, fuel: declare the plan once and each month's payable is provisioned with its due date.

Credit card cycles

Each card purchase is added right away to the next statement's provision. The statement date closes it; the payment settles it.

Bank match

Rules categorize repeated lines in bulk. What has no receipt is categorized, split, or marked as a transfer between your accounts.

Cash flow

Week by week and month by month: what came in, what went out, and — on a separate line — what is provisioned and not yet moved.

Not tied to projects

Use it for the business, the household, or both — each entry says how much is business. Tag a project only when you want to.

What we do not do yet, on purpose: live bank connection (in testing — statements are imported as files today), paying bills from inside the app, 1099 forms and payroll, and sales tax by state. Sending payment receipts to your clients is being designed now. If you need those today, keep your current tool for them and export from here.

Questions

Do I need to connect my bank?

No. Today you import bank and card statements as CSV or Excel files. A live bank connection is being tested and will be optional.

Is it tied to projects?

No. Use it for the business, the household, or both. A receipt or bill can carry a project tag when you want one — it is never required.

Can my accountant work with it?

Reports export to Excel, Word, PDF and CSV, and every entry keeps its receipt, so your accountant gets the evidence with the number.

Is my data shared with AI providers?

No. We do not turn on any AI model that requires sharing your data with its provider.
